Marketing Your Book on Pinterest-It's the Way to Go

Pinterest is a powerful marketing tool for authors with images (“pins”) that link to your book website or blog.
It is a social media site that allows members to collect and organize images and ideas about things they enjoy and have an interest in. The images and ideas are called pins. You can create and collect pins, and follow people's pins you find interesting.
When using Pinterest to market your work as an author, you need to have web pages, blogs, landing pages, whatever that gives the viewer a link to buy your book.
You can use Pinterest to send them to your website, your book’s page on Amazon, or another bookstore website or blog -- as long as it includes an easy way to buy your work.
First, you need to create an author's pinboard. On it, you tell a little about yourself as an author. Write about why you write. Some of the things that led you to write. Include links to some of your published work.
I currently have 7 Pinterest Boards, one exclusively for my short stories and my Amazon-published books.
If you aren't using Pinterest to market your writing, I suggest you check into it. Next, to twitter, I find it the best author's platform for the writer who is marketing their own work.
If you want to join the ranks of writers using Pinterest to successfully sell their work, check out this book that tells you how it's done.
