7 Tips for Healthy Vision

Protect your eyes from too much sunlight by wearing sunglasses that block ultraviolet (UV) radiation and a hat with a wide brim when you are outside.

No Smoking

Foods high in antioxidants such as vitamins C and E), some minerals, selenium is a good source and of course flavonoids found in plants. Fruits and vegetables are your best source. The lazy me buys already peeled and cut, purees them, has for dessert or topping for a waffle. Shhh, maybe on a cup of ice cream?

Make physical activity part of every day---lazy me avoids physical activity but the want to age better me makes a daily 10-minute walk and 10-minute resistance bands exercise mandatory.

Watch your blood pressure and be checked regularly for diabetes.

If you are like the lazy, hate physical activities me and spend lots of time looking at a computer screen, stop it. Every half hour, set your timer, stand up—stretch--roll your eyes----blink rapidly---and while you're at it---walk in place 100 steps.

Don't wait until it's too late to take care of your vision and if you have---follow the above info from The National Health Institute to keep it from getting worse.
