I Use Google URL Shortener to Track Blog Views

I use Google URL shortener (goo.gl) to keep track of the number of views I get when I post a new Blog. Google URL Shortener is a web service that reduces long URLs into fewer characters to make a link easier to share on social media.

I use different shortened URLs for Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. That way I can check the google url page and see how many views I got from each place where I posted the link. It works exceptionally well on Twitter where characters are limited.

I'd be interested to know how you keep track of views to your books, blogs, website or affiliate posts.

You can comment below or on Facebook - Follow me on Facebook and post your comment there.

As you can tell by this post, I use Blogger for all my Blogs. I have many friends who use WordPress.
